Relationships
As social beings, relationships are one of the skills we participate in for a lifetime.

Our primary relationship is the one we have with ourselves.  In order to have this
relationship, we must first cultivate self awareness.  Awareness exists when
unconscious information becomes conscious and universal information becomes
conscious.

First, lets take step back and understand the context or world in which we live.
There exists a subatomic level which is explained by quantum physics and the
atomic or physical level which is explained through classical physic.

At the quantum level, we can accurately predict outcomes in terms of probability
but are unable to predict actual outcomes accurately.  At the physical level, we can
predict actual outcome with accuracy.  The difference between the two levels is
our free will.  Let me explain.

The quantum level is the sea of infinite possibilities misnamed the quantum
vacuum.  An aspect of us is created in the image of the quantum vacuum and is
called the Bose-Einstein Condensate.  It is through this connection, the quantum
vacuum/sea of infinite possibilities and the Bose-Einstein Condensate that we
experience intuition and creativity.

We bring forth creation out of the sea of infinite possibilities into the physical
level by an intentional conscious thought/free will and manifest it or not by
conscious choice.  Each moment in life is a choice.  Our choices define us.  They
determine the experiences we have in our earthly lives.  Once our choices are
manifested on the physical level, they follow the laws of cause and effect.

To live in authentic relationship with ourselves, we need to be aware of three
aspects of choice that create our lives.
  • Our conscious mind brings awareness of our perception of reality. *
  • Our emotions bring information recorded in our subconscious mind of
    our cells.
  • Our intuition brings information from our connection with the source of
all that is or whatever you chose to call God.

*The conscious mind is only capable of having thoughts about reality.  It can not
definitely know reality because it is only capable of having thoughts.

When we make a choice with these three aspects in agreement, then we are living
in authentic relationship with ourselves.  For example:  When I decide to go for a
walk on the beach because I think the exercise will be good for me and I feel
excited by the thought of going to the beach and my "gut" or intuition tells me its
the right thing for me to do in the moment, then in that moment, I am living in
authentic relationship with myself.  I am communicating effectively with myself.
When these three aspects are not all in agreement, then I need to work on
understanding myself and communicating with myself.

I believe the purpose of our lives is to learn to know ourselves and strive for
inner peace and harmony.  Earth is the classroom where we get to learn and
practise this through interaction and service to others.    We relate to other people
because they are our teachers and our feedback mechanism.

For more information on relating to oneself, check out the resources in the
Relationship Shoppe.  I recommend reading books by Gary Zuzar/Linda Francis,
Danah Zohar, Bruce Lipton and Gary & Linda Schwartz

Another very important aspect of all relationships is communication.  It is the
only way we are able to interact with our world.  We communicate through our 5
senses and our universal connection to the source of all that is.
Marshall Rosenberg has written an excellent series of book on non-violent
communication skills.  I have become more aware of how I communicate with
others from reading his books.  I have listed several of his books in the
Relationship Shoppe.  For more information on communication, check out the
resources in the
Relationship Shoppe.

We need to cultivate awareness of many aspects of ourselves such as our health,
our relationship to wealth/money, our spiritual self  and our relationship to other
people, animals and mother earth.

Awareness is 50% of what is needed to make life enriching changes.  Without
awareness, we continue down the road to ill health and poverty, both spiritually
and physically.

Through reading authors like Gary Zuzar/Linda Francis, Danah Zohar, Bruce
Lipton, Gary & Linda Schwartz, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Dan Millman, I began to
examine myself and become aware of who I am.  You will find these in the
Shoppe under Inspired Authors or the Relationship Shoppe.

  Reading
Rich Dad Poor Dad, and Prophecy by Robert T. Kiyosaki with Sharon
L. Lechter C.P.A. as well as the Rich Dad's Advisor series awakened me to the
way I thought about wealth building and money.  With this new knowledge, I was
able to make life enriching changes and decisions.  You can find these books in the
Relationship Shoppe or the Wealth Shoppe.

I joined a group which played the CASHFLOW® 101 Board Game and really
learned how I made decisions about money.  It was very eye opening and I highly
recommend finding a group to play with or purchasing it for yourself to start a
group.  You can find the CASHFLOW® 101 Board Game in the
Relationship
Shoppe under Self Awareness.

I created a separate page for more on Wealth Building.

Wealth Building Page.

Unfortunately, when we do not have awareness of health, it usually comes into
our awareness through disease.  I have dedicated a separate page for Health as it is
a lengthy topic.

Again, our awareness of our spirituality is a lengthy topic so I have given it its
own page.

May you come into awareness and experience a wonderful life.
